New Leadership at Isartal Ventures: Kai Langohr Takes Over as Managing Director to Drive Digital Health Investments

Leadership change at Isartal Ventures: As of June 2025, Kai Langohr has joined the company as CEO, strengthening the team of the investment firm specializing in Digital Health. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic development of the investment portfolio, identifying new opportunities, and expanding the network in the digital health space.

With Kai Langohr, Isartal Ventures gains a seasoned professional known for his entrepreneurial mindset and strong expertise in venture capital and M&A transactions.

Langohr’s career reflects a mix of entrepreneurship and strategic investment: While still studying business administration, he founded two startups – one of which was an internationally operating eCommerce company. In 2022, he joined investor Nils Glagau and played a key role in building Ortho Innovations, the corporate venture unit of Orthomol.

In August 2023, he moved to Wort & Bild Verlagsgruppe as Executive Assistant to the Management Board. By December of the same year, he additionally assumed the role of Senior Portfolio Manager at Isartal Ventures – now followed by his official appointment as CEO.

With Kai Langohr at the helm, Isartal Ventures is set to continue its growth trajectory, drive innovation, and foster strategic partnerships to actively shape the digitalization of healthcare.
