
LOBECO expands executive team: Dirk Huefnagels joins the management board of the digital agency
Munich-based digital agency LOBECO is expanding its leadership: Dirk Huefnagels, one of Germany’s most distinguished marketing professionals, will join the executive board in August 2025, alongside Lorenz Beringer and Sebastian Iffert.
With his extensive experience in international marketing and sales, Huefnagels is a strategic asset for the owner-managed agency. “LOBECO has a diverse industry portfolio that excites me – from Bundesliga football clubs and car manufacturers to hidden champions and start-ups,” says Huefnagels. “I look forward to contributing my corporate and marketing experience.”
His impressive career spans several milestones: from Otto Group in Hamburg to heading marketing at HypoVereinsbank, and later overseeing global marketing for UniCredit Group. Most recently, he led Customer Experience Management and Marketing at HypoVereinsbank. His work has earned multiple awards, including the coveted “Client of the Year” title from the Art Directors Club Germany.
Huefnagels has also been active in volunteer roles – including as chairman of the S20 Sponsoring Association, where he promoted innovative sponsorship initiatives.
