Dr. Florian Block Becomes Sole Managing Director of Herbaria Kräuterparadies GmbH and Advances Integration Within the Salus Group
The Salus Group is continuing its long-term integration strategy and has set the course for an even more cohesive and future-oriented collaboration among its brands. Effective January 1, 2026, Dr. Florian Block will assume sole management responsibility for Herbaria Kräuterparadies GmbH, thereby taking on a central leadership role within the entire group.
Over many years, cooperation between Salus, Schoenenberger, and Herbaria has steadily intensified. A significant contribution to this development was made by Erwin Winkler, who has been part of the Salus Group for 25 years, including 14 years as Managing Director of Herbaria. At the beginning of 2026, he will transition to Bioland e. V. as Head of Market Management, remaining closely connected to the organic sector and many long-standing colleagues from the Salus Group.
This leadership transition provided an impetus to reassess the group’s organisational structure. The outcome: Herbaria and Salus will work together even more closely in the future. Accordingly, Dr. Florian Block will take over management of Herbaria in addition to his responsibilities at Salus and Schoenenberger. At the same time, the teams of Salus and Herbaria will be merged, while Herbaria will continue to operate as an independent company.
“This is, from our perspective, the only sensible step. Together, we can make even better use of the strengths of the Salus Group, shorten coordination paths, and learn from one another to remain successful as a group in the long term,” explains Dr. Block.
The relocation of Herbaria Kräuterparadies GmbH from Fischbachau to Bruckmühl at the beginning of 2025 has created ideal conditions for this restructuring. The geographical proximity accelerates coordination, enhances operational collaboration, and strengthens strategic cohesion across all teams.
With its new organisational structure, the Salus Group is sending a clear signal for future readiness, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
