Heike Fischer takes over Pharmacy D/CH at Beiersdorf

Beiersdorf is changing the leadership of its Pharmacy business for Germany and Switzerland. Since 1 October 2026, Heike Fischer has been responsible for Pharmacy D/CH, a unit that includes brands such as Eucerin and Hansaplast.

Fischer succeeds Alexander Schneider. According to the company, Schneider is leaving Beiersdorf after more than 20 years with the group. He plans to set up his own consultancy focused on supporting pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in growth, transformation and commercial excellence.

Background in Eucerin and Nivea Men

Fischer has worked for Beiersdorf for seven years. She joined the company in 2019 as Global Marketing Director for Nivea Men. In 2022, she was promoted to Global Associate Vice President for the brand.

Since January 2024, Fischer has served as Global Vice President for Eucerin. In her new role at the head of Pharmacy D/CH, she takes charge of the Derma business in Germany and Switzerland.

Earlier roles before Beiersdorf

Before joining Beiersdorf, Fischer spent many years at Unilever. After graduating in business administration from the University of Mannheim, she began her career there in 2000. At Unilever, she held a range of functions and leadership roles. Her last position was Senior Global Strategy & Digital Transformation Director Personal Care before she left the company in 2018.

The appointment concerns a business area with clear relevance for the pharmacy and healthcare market. With Eucerin and Hansaplast, Beiersdorf’s Pharmacy D/CH portfolio includes brands positioned at the intersection of skin care, wound care and pharmacy distribution.
