Roche to propose Christophe Weber for Board election
The Board of Directors of Roche Holding Ltd plans to nominate Dr. Christophe Weber for election to the company’s Board. The vote is scheduled for the Annual General Meeting on 9 March 2027.
Weber previously served as CEO of Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Roche cited his healthcare industry expertise and leadership background in connection with the planned nomination.
Board expertise in focus
Roche Chairman Severin Schwan welcomed the proposed candidacy. According to the company, Weber’s industry knowledge is expected to add further strength to the Board’s work.
The final decision rests with shareholders, who will vote on the election at the Annual General Meeting.
