Haleon expands AI collaboration with Microsoft
Haleon has announced a new five-year collaboration with Microsoft to strengthen digital, data and artificial intelligence capabilities across its business.
The consumer health company links the agreement to its global „Win as One“ strategy. The collaboration is intended to support broader use of digital tools and help teams reduce repetitive work through automation.
Broader use of Copilot and AI infrastructure
Haleon already uses Microsoft 365 Copilot. The new agreement is designed to extend the adoption of AI-enabled tools within the organisation, with a focus on collaboration, productivity and higher-value work.
The partnership will also support Haleon’s underlying technology environment for AI. The company points to Microsoft capabilities in agentic AI, security and identity management as areas that will help it scale AI in a secure and responsible way.
Consumer health focus
For healthcare and pharma-related companies, the controlled deployment of AI is becoming an increasingly important operational topic. Haleon is positioning the Microsoft collaboration as a way to combine technology with its consumer health expertise.
Claire Dickson, Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Haleon, said the combination of Microsoft’s cloud and AI capabilities with Haleon’s consumer health knowledge is expected to accelerate the company’s progress in AI.
