Sanofi named Official Supporter of Boston 2026 Host City
Sanofi has announced that it is becoming an Official Supporter of the Boston Host City for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The company said the move is intended to underline its commitment to the Boston area and Massachusetts communities, with an emphasis on health, inclusion, and community investment.
As part of the collaboration, Tanisha M. Sullivan, Sanofi’s Head of External Engagement, has been appointed to the FIFA WORLD CUP Boston 26 Honorary Board.
Massachusetts footprint in focus
In its announcement, Sanofi pointed to its long-standing presence in Massachusetts, where it operates multiple facilities including its largest US site. The company also stated it has around 5,000 employees in the state across manufacturing, R&D, and corporate operations.
Honorary Board responsibilities
In the Honorary Board role, Sullivan is expected to provide strategic input and support community-focused initiatives and public engagement efforts. Sanofi said it aims to contribute to a legacy that extends beyond the tournament, with broader social and economic impact for Greater Boston and Massachusetts.
