Novo Nordisk employees elect new board representatives
Novo Nordisk A/S has completed its election of employee representatives to the company’s Board of Directors. The elected employee representatives will serve a four-year term.

Effective date and planned resignations
The newly elected employee representatives are expected to join the Board following Novo Nordisk A/S’ annual general meeting on 26 March 2026. At the same time, Liselotte Hyveled and Tanja Villumsen will step down, as they did not stand for re-election as employee representatives.
Governance background
Under the Danish Companies Act, Novo Nordisk states that employees are entitled to representation corresponding to half of the total shareholder-elected board members. Employee-elected board members have the same rights, duties and responsibilities as shareholder-elected members.
