Jörg Störmer Takes Over Procurement Management at Klinikum Region Hannover
On October 1, 2025, Jörg Störmer will take over as head of the Procurement Management division at Klinikum Region Hannover (KRH). The trained lawyer and experienced procurement expert succeeds Steffen Grebner, who is moving to the Aurich-Emden-Norden clinics.
Störmer brings broad expertise from the healthcare sector. Most recently, the 54-year-old served as authorized officer and head of Procurement and Medical Technology at MEDICLIN AG. After leaving his legal practice in 2003, he gained many years of experience in various positions at healthcare providers and hospitals, particularly in procurement and logistics.
“The Klinikum Region Hannover enjoys an excellent reputation among hospitals across Germany,” says Störmer. “KRH, with its forward-looking projects, is one of the most exciting hospitals in the country. I am excited to lead Procurement Management and help guide KRH into the future.”
The change is also welcomed by the management board. “With Mr. Störmer, an acknowledged expert in procurement joins us,” explains Barbara Schulte, KRH Managing Director of Finance and Infrastructure. “KRH will benefit from his many years of experience in a field that must find new paths at the intersection of supply security, networking, and digitalization.”
Störmer is originally from Koblenz but is already familiar with Hannover and its surroundings, both professionally and privately. In his free time, the father of a 9-year-old daughter enjoys reading and staying active through sports.
