
Merz Lifecare Appoints Markus Armbruster as Chief Marketing Officer to Drive Multi-Brand Growth and International Expansion
Merz Lifecare has announced the appointment of Markus Armbruster as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This newly created position comes as part of the recent merger with WindStar Medical and aims to strengthen the strategy for the expanded brand portfolio.
With brands such as tetesept, Merz Spezial, Brooklyn Soap Company, SOS, and Zirkulin, as well as WindStar Group’s private label business, Merz Lifecare is focused on solidifying its position as a leading OTC company.

In his new role, Armbruster will lead Brand Management, Online Marketing, and Brand Communications for both Merz Lifecare and WindStar Medical brands.
Markus Armbruster brings extensive experience from leading FMCG companies such as Essity, Unilever, and Vileda. Most recently, he served as Marketing Director at Essity, overseeing brand management for Central and Eastern Europe for well-known brands such as Tempo, Zewa, and Tena.
With this strategic step, Merz Lifecare and WindStar Medical, under the umbrella of Merz Lifecare Holding GmbH, are positioning themselves for future growth and the successful development of their extended brand spectrum.
