Comprix 2026: Scholz & Friends leads the winners list
The Comprix awards honored leading work in healthcare communications on 12 June 2026 at Halle Tor 2 in Cologne. The 33rd edition of the competition took place under the motto Club der Fantasie and brought together agencies and clients from the healthcare marketing sector.
The competition recorded 353 submissions. Of these, 225 entries made the shortlist. The juries ultimately presented 31 awards, plus three Young Comprix honors for emerging talent.
Scholz & Friends tops the agency field
Scholz & Friends was the most successful entrant in 2026, winning six Gold awards. The winning work came from teams in Hamburg, Berlin and Scholz & Friends Health in Frankfurt. In total, the agency group had 29 finalist entries.
Peix Health Group from Berlin ranked next with five awards after reaching the shortlist 43 times. Munich-based agency Mensch followed with four Gold awards and ten finalist entries.
Other multiple winners included Stuttgart agency Schmittgall Health with three Gold awards, while Cake from Vienna, Havas Life Berlin and Wefra Life from Neu-Isenburg each received two Gold awards.
Single Gold awards went to Goodadvice Healthcare Marketing, Presence, Serviceplan Boosting Health, Spirit Link, Syndicate Design, Syneos Health and TV-Wartezimmer.
Sandoz and Dr. Pfleger among leading clients
On the client side, Sandoz stood out with twelve shortlist placements and two Gold awards. The honored work included Peix’s MometaHexal campaign Zausel and Cake’s print series Weird Hobby Couple.
Dr. Pfleger was also among the successful clients. The Ipalat campaign Die Welt braucht deine Stimme and a packaging relaunch both won Gold. Two further awards went to Schmittgall’s Ich sehe was, was du nicht siehst for Emmi Ultrasonic and Mensch’s Halt finden for Bundesverband Kinderhospiz.
Health Design introduced as a new category
After the competition paused in 2025, Comprix returned with an updated judging process. The shortlist was selected digitally in advance, followed by an in-person final jury workshop with specialist discussion. More than 50 jurors worked across three juries.
A key content change was the introduction of the Health Design category. It complements the existing fields of Pharma Rx and medical devices as well as Health OTC and wellness. In its first year, 31 works reached the shortlist and four received Gold.
Young Comprix honors three student projects
The Young Comprix awards went to three bachelor’s projects by dual students at DHBW Ravensburg. Benjamin Branner was recognized for Vitamin Z, a project addressing the environmental impact of discarded cigarette butts.
Lorena Mona Mauz received an award for PCOS, Hormonchaos verstehen, a visual education initiative on polycystic ovary syndrome. Linda Mrovecova was honored for New Darwin, a speculative design project exploring human enhancement.
In the long-term creativity ranking based on Comprix results since 2001, Schmittgall Health remains in first place. The Serviceplan Group and Peix Health follow. The ranking is based on both awards and shortlist placements.
