Engelhard Arzneimittel strengthens global business: Claudia Hartmann now leads International Sales & Partner Management
As of September 2025, Claudia Hartmann has taken over the leadership of International Sales and Partner Management at Engelhard Arzneimittel. In her role as Director, she is responsible for strategically developing the company’s global business, which plays a key role for the traditional pharmaceutical company.
With brands such as Prospan® – the world’s best-selling herbal cough medicine – and isla®, Engelhard ranks among Germany’s most successful medium-sized pharmaceutical companies. With sales in more than 100 markets, the family-owned company has become an international player.
The new appointment sends a clear signal: In addition to its focus markets Germany and Austria, Engelhard aims to sustainably expand its international sales and unlock new growth potential. Hartmann plans to strengthen existing partner structures and work closely with the markets: “Direct, constructive exchange with our partners is a decisive factor for global success,” she explains.
Another key focus will be opening up new markets and expanding the product portfolio in existing ones. At the same time, Engelhard will continue to drive digitalization in its international business. The goal is to identify and seize opportunities at an early stage, ensuring sustainable global growth of Engelhard’s brands.
Hartmann brings many years of experience in national and international sales functions. Before joining Engelhard, she held senior positions at global corporations, where she successfully built new organizational units and led both key account and field sales teams.
