Uber Eats and CURE bring over-the-counter pharmacy products to 25 German cities via delivery app

From now on, Uber Eats users can not only order food but also have health and care products delivered directly to their homes. This is made possible by a new partnership with CURE, a platform supporting the digitalization of pharmacies.

At launch, more than 70 pharmacies in 25 cities are already connected, including Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, and Cologne. The range covers over 8,500 over-the-counter products – from everyday medications and supplements to cosmetics, skin, and body care products. Deliveries are usually made within 30 minutes by Uber Eats fleet partners.

“Health products are an essential part of everyday life for many people – which makes fast and reliable delivery all the more important, just as Uber Eats customers have come to expect,” says Moritz Bernhard, General Manager Uber Direct and Grocery & Retail in Germany.

The cooperation also creates new opportunities for pharmacies: “With CURE, we strengthen the position of local pharmacies and offer them new ways to connect directly with their customers – simple, modern, and customer-oriented,” adds Ali El-Ali, CEO and Co-Founder of CURE.

The partnership is part of Uber’s global strategy to continuously expand its marketplace with new categories. The “Health & Wellness” segment has already proven successful in other markets such as the UK and Portugal.
