Christian Schmitz Appointed CEO of Plan.Net and Joins the Executive Board of the Serviceplan Group

Christian Schmitz has assumed the role of CEO of the Plan.Net Group as of July 1st and has also been appointed to the executive board of the Serviceplan Group. He now leads both Plan.Net and THE MARCOM ENGINE, two key agency models within the group that will increasingly leverage synergies in AI and digital transformation – while continuing to operate independently.

Since 2021, Christian Schmitz has served as CEO of THE MARCOM ENGINE – the agency model for BMW and MINI – where he established an end-to-end model that impresses with both efficiency and measurable effectiveness. This proven concept will now be further developed within the Plan.Net Group.

Schmitz comments:“In recent years, we’ve built an end-to-end model with THE MARCOM ENGINE that delivers both efficiency and effectiveness. We’re seeing a clear increase in demand for these models – especially on an international scale. Plan.Net provides the ideal framework to combine consulting, experience, and tech expertise into an AI-supported approach.”

Plan.Net already integrates AI across all five core areas – Transformation Consulting, Creative UX/UI, Commerce, CIM (Customer Interaction Management), and Tech. A notable development is the launch of ‘Agentic Services’, which further advances AI-driven services.

Florian Haller, CEO of the Serviceplan Group, adds: “Christian has built THE MARCOM ENGINE into a real success model within Plan.Net. Expanding his role to include the entire Plan.Net Group and appointing him to the executive board is a logical step.”

With a clear focus on AI and end-to-end competence, Plan.Net will continue to act as a leading digital partner under Christian Schmitz’s leadership.
