AstraZeneca Germany launches new employer branding campaign: Employees share how their work makes a difference for themselves and society
Under the guiding question “What truly makes the difference here?” AstraZeneca Germany is launching a new employer branding campaign. At its heart: seven authentic short films in which employees reflect freely and honestly on whether – and how – AstraZeneca stands out from other employers.
The initiative is part of the ongoing “We are #madeformore!” campaign, launched in 2022, which puts employees at the center as the company’s strongest ambassadors.
“With our investments in research and innovation as well as our achievements in biopharmaceuticals, oncology, and rare diseases, we make a major contribution to healthcare. But it is just as important that we live diversity and openness as a foundation of our culture,” says Alexandra Bishop, Managing Director, AstraZeneca Germany.
In the films, eight employees share spontaneous, unscripted thoughts on key questions such as: “Why should I join AstraZeneca?” or “What difference does an employer really make?” The seven films highlight different aspects – from sustainability and office culture to the purpose of working in a research-driven pharmaceutical company.
“For job seekers, the central question is: How does AstraZeneca differ from other employers – and what difference would joining us make for me personally? With our films, we aim to provide orientation and authentic insights,” adds Bastian Sauer-Odendahl, Director Human Resources, AstraZeneca Germany.
The films will be released this fall across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and the AstraZeneca website, and supported with media coverage throughout Q4.
With the Difference Campaign, AstraZeneca continues the successful “We are #madeformore!” employer branding series, underlining that: A job in the pharmaceutical industry makes a difference – not only for society, but also for individual growth.
