Sixth Consecutive Win: Vetter Sets Benchmark for Strategic and Sustainable Business Management
Vetter, a global partner for the manufacturing of life-critical injectable medicines, has once again received the “Best Managed Company” award in 2025 – marking its sixth consecutive win. The prestigious award was presented on May 22 at the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten in Frankfurt and highlights Vetter’s continued commitment to responsible and future-focused business leadership.
The Best Managed Companies Award, organized by Deloitte Private, UBS, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and the Federation of German Industries (BDI), honors companies that excel across four key business pillars: Strategy, Innovation, Culture, and Finance.
Vetter impressed the jury once again with its long-term strategic vision and consistent execution. This year, additional emphasis was placed on the values and structures specific to family-owned businesses – a category in which Vetter stood out.
Vetter Managing Director Titus Ottinger emphasized:
“Participating in this award provides us with important external feedback. This year, we were able to demonstrate even more clearly how deeply our corporate values are embedded within our structures.”
In 2024, Vetter achieved 11% revenue growth, reaching €1.1 billion, employed over 7,000 people worldwide, and invested €269 million in expanding and modernizing its sites in Germany, Austria, and the USA. Major advancements were made in digitalization, including AI, cloud solutions, and human-machine interaction.
Vetter’s innovation strategy is supported by engaging formats such as the Innovation Bootcamp, Science Slam, and Innovation World Café, ensuring early identification and implementation of emerging technologies.
Sustainability also remains a core focus: Vetter has published its fourth comprehensive Sustainability Report, addressing ecological, economic, and social responsibility.
Markus Seiz, Program Leader of Best Managed Companies and Director at Deloitte Private, remarked:
“Vetter is a prime example of how strategic vision and responsible business practices can drive sustainable success on a global scale.”
