STADA appoints Diana Wiedmann as Chief Culture & People Officer

STADA has named Diana Wiedmann as its next Chief Culture & People Officer, effective 1 January 2027. The Bad Vilbel based pharmaceutical company said Wiedmann will join its executive leadership as Executive Vice President.

In the role, Wiedmann will report directly to CEO Peter Goldschmidt. She succeeds Simone Berger, who left the company earlier this year to pursue a new professional role in Japan.

Background across HR, strategy and biopharma

Wiedmann joins STADA from Drees & Sommer, where she most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Partner. Her career spans more than 25 years across human resources, consulting, strategy and banking.

She also brings senior-level experience from the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, including positions at Rentschler Biopharma, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Aspen Global Incorporated. STADA highlighted her track record in international growth, restructuring, digitalisation and organisational scaling.

Talent development remains a priority

According to STADA, Wiedmann is expected to link culture and people initiatives closely with business performance. The company pointed to existing talent and leadership programmes, including its XLRT initiative for future leaders, as part of the platform on which she will build.

Wiedmann has held leadership roles in Germany and internationally, including in China, Hong Kong and Mauritius. She earned an MBA from the University of Wales in Cardiff and completed further executive education at the Wharton School.

STADA continues growth agenda

STADA operates with a three-pillar strategy covering consumer healthcare, generics and specialty pharmaceuticals. The company markets products in more than 100 countries. In 2025, STADA reported group sales of 4.296 billion euros and adjusted EBITDA at constant exchange rates of 961 million euros. As of the end of 2025, the company employed 11,670 people worldwide.
