Boehringer Ingelheim Launches Free Hotline and Health Coaching for Pulmonary Fibrosis Patients
Boehringer Ingelheim launched a new service for people living with pulmonary fibrosis on June 10, 2025: a free hotline and personalized health coaching. Patients and their families can call 0800 272 67 60 on weekdays from 8 AM to 8 PM for comprehensive advice.
Pulmonary fibrosis significantly limits many patients’ daily lives. Physical and emotional exhaustion often impacts quality of life. This new hotline aims to provide concrete help and encourage patients to lead active lives despite the condition.
“We know from talking to patients that this diagnosis raises many questions,” says Isabel Hönes, Patient Engagement Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim. “With this service, we want to offer reliable support – as a complement to medical care.”
A team of qualified health coaches answers questions, provides practical guidance on coping with the disease, and offers strategies for staying active. The goal is to ensure that patients and families do not feel alone in dealing with pulmonary fibrosis.
The hotline is free of charge and available to all pulmonary fibrosis patients and their families.
