Dr. Ulrich Thomé Leaves CompuGroup Medical – CEO Daniel Gotthardt Assumes Interim Leadership of AIS DACH Division

CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA (CGM) has announced a leadership change: Dr. Ulrich Thomé, Managing Director for Ambulatory Information Systems DACH since November 2023, will be leaving the company by mutual agreement on August 1, 2025.

Dr. Thomé joined CGM in August 2023 and, during his time at the company, provided significant strategic momentum for the advancement of outpatient information systems in the German-speaking region. His extensive experience in the healthcare sector has played a key role in shaping the direction of the AIS business.

From August 1, 2025, Prof. (apl.) Dr. Daniel Gotthardt, CEO of CGM, will assume interim leadership of the AIS DACH division. “We sincerely thank Uli Thomé for his tireless efforts and many invaluable contributions,” said Gotthardt. He also emphasized that the company would continue to prioritize customer needs and invest heavily in AI-powered innovation.

Dr. Thomé expressed gratitude in his farewell: “I will fondly remember my time at CGM – marked by inspiring collaboration, valuable customer interactions, and trusted partnerships.” He wished the company continued success on its mission to shape the future of healthcare through passion and innovation.
