“Golden Leaf Gala” premieres in Cologne: Medical cannabis takes center stage at an exclusive industry event

With the “Golden Leaf Gala – The Night of Cannabis Pioneers”, a spectacular new format for the medical cannabis industry is coming to Cologne. On Thursday, October 31, 2024, the historic “Flora Köln” will open its doors from 6 p.m., welcoming doctors, researchers, politicians, patients, and the general public.

Initiated by leading companies such as Four 20 Pharma GmbH from Paderborn and Sanity Group from Berlin, the event aims to combine education, inspiration, and entertainment. The program includes expert lectures, patient testimonials, and a diverse entertainment lineup with music and celebrity guests.

At the heart of the evening: the medical potential of cannabis in pain therapy and other indications. The gala aims not only to provide knowledge but also to help overcome lingering stigmas and prejudices.

One of the highlights: Prof. Dr. mult. Eckhard Nagel, one of Germany’s most renowned physicians and medical ethicists, will serve as the patron of the event and deliver a keynote on the ethical perspectives of medical cannabis.

Thomas Schatton, founder and CEO of Four 20 Pharma, states: “Prof. Nagel’s commitment shows that medical cannabis has secured its place in healthcare today. This evening in Cologne will be spectacular – and another big step in the right direction.”

Alongside the professional discussions, entertainment will also play a major role. Members of Four 20 Pharma’s patient advisory board will share their personal experiences, while live performances and music will create an exclusive atmosphere.
