German pharmacy portal relaunches with new design

Deutscher Apotheker Verlag has relaunched the Deutsches Apotheken Portal. Since June 2026, the platform has appeared with a redesigned interface intended to make its digital services easier for pharmacies to use.

The relaunch focuses on a clearer structure for the portal’s content. Tools, databases and surveys are now presented in a more consolidated environment, according to the Cologne-based specialist publisher. The move further supports the portal’s role as a digital information and service platform for pharmacy teams.

Single login for portal and publisher services

A new DAViD login has also been introduced. Pharmacies can now use one password for access to the Deutsches Apotheken Portal and to services from Mediengruppe Deutscher Apotheker Verlag, the overarching DAP publishing group behind the portal.

Dr. Dagmar Engels, managing director of DAP Networks GmbH, described the relaunch as part of the platform’s ongoing development. The company aims to combine established content with updated technology and design, while maintaining the portal as a central source of information for pharmacies.

From rebate contract overview to broader service offer

The Deutsches Apotheken Portal was launched in 2007. Its early focus was on providing an overview of current rebate contracts. Since then, the service has expanded significantly and now includes practical tools, explanations of legal rules, interactive consultation training, continuing education options and surveys.

According to the provider, the portal records around 211,000 page visits and approximately 957,000 page impressions per month. With the redesign, the publisher aims to improve orientation across the platform and speed up access to relevant information.
