Boehringer Ingelheim Launches New Online Magazine “Imagine” Showcasing Global Sustainability Initiatives

Sustainability thrives on personal commitment – and now it has a platform.
With the launch of its online magazine “Imagine”, Boehringer Ingelheim shares authentic stories from across the globe that bring its sustainability strategy to life through the dedication of its employees.

From delivering medical care by sailboat to remote Greek islands, to building rainwater tanks in Mexico and mentoring programs for youth in Spain – the initiatives are diverse and inspiring. An interactive world map illustrates how and where Boehringer Ingelheim is achieving its sustainability goals.

“Imagine” is part of the company’s long-term sustainability strategy “Sustainable Development for Generations”, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement. Among its ambitions, Boehringer aims to improve access to healthcare for 50 million people and achieve carbon neutrality in its operations (Scope 1 and 2) by 2030.

Denise Hottmann, Head of Sustainability Germany, emphasizes: “‘Imagine’ makes our employees’ dedication visible and shows what responsibility truly means to us at Boehringer Ingelheim.”
