Evotec appoints Dr. Ingrid Müller to its Management Board

Evotec SE has appointed Dr. Ingrid Müller as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a member of the Management Board, effective 1 May 2026.

Mandate: global operations and Horizon delivery

In her new role, Müller will be responsible for the company’s global operations organization. She will also lead the execution of Evotec’s “Horizon” transformation strategy, with a focus on quality, productivity, scalability, performance, cost management, and the continued rollout of technology improvements across the business.

Experience and previous roles

According to the company, Müller brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience in the life sciences industry. Her background spans operations and transformation, strategy, supply, procurement, and R&D integration.

Most recently, she served as Vice President Portfolio Strategy & Execution at CureVac. Earlier in her career, she held senior international positions at Sanofi and Fresenius Kabi, where her remit included strengthening supply chain resilience, implementing make-or-buy approaches, and driving efficiency initiatives.

Management perspective

CEO Dr. Christian Wojczewski cited Müller’s track record in cross-functional execution and transformation. Müller said she aims to further enhance operational excellence, quality, and partner delivery, supporting the company’s next phase of growth.
