Comprix 2027 has opened its call for entries. Agencies, companies and other healthcare communications stakeholders can submit work for the 34th edition of the German-speaking creative healthcare communications award until 12 February 2027 via the award platform.
The competition is structured around three areas and 65 categories. Pharma Rx & Medizinprodukte and Health OTC & Wellness are joined again by Health Design, a section introduced in 2026. The award covers a broad range of healthcare communication fields, including Rx and OTC, food supplements, veterinary medicine, dental medicine, medical technology and patient communication.
Beyond conventional awareness campaigns
For healthcare marketers, the competition highlights how medical accuracy, a strong creative concept and audience relevance need to work together. Eva Weghmann, managing director of FischerAppelt Health and a member of the Comprix advisory board, frames health communication as an area shaped at the same time by medical, social and political factors. In her view, campaigns increasingly need to move beyond isolated awareness objectives.
Weghmann also points to changing audience dynamics. Professional and patient groups can no longer be understood only through static data, but also through behaviour, community affiliation and shared interests. For agencies and clients, this keeps reach relevant, while placing greater emphasis on resonance with the experiences and questions of the intended audiences.
Awards ceremony in Berlin
The jury will comprise experts from the healthcare and creative industries. The winning projects will be announced at the awards ceremony in Berlin on 11 June 2027.
Entries are submitted online. Comprix provides details on categories, eligibility and deadlines on its submission page. The award is organised by the Comprix advisory board, whose members include Berlin-Chemie, Deutscher Ärzteverlag, Springer Medizin and the agencies FischerAppelt relations, Mensch Kreativagentur, Movendi, Peix Health Group, Pink Carrots Communications, Schmittgall Health, Scholz & Friends Health, Serviceplan Boosting Health and Spirit Link.
