Mental health podcast “Wie geht’s?” by Robin Gosens moves to ARD
The mental health podcast “Wie geht’s?”, hosted by professional footballer Robin Gosens, is moving into the ARD network. The format will be editorially overseen by ARD Gesund and N-JOY, supported by the ARD Podcast Unit, and produced going forward by Berlin-based production company Bosepark.
First new ARD-hosted episode features Max Giesinger
The first episode following the move is now also available on ARD Sounds. In the conversation, Gosens and musician Max Giesinger discuss topics including experiences with therapy, dealing with doubts about success, and approaches to managing stress.
Positioning: normalize conversations and share practical coping tools
The podcast addresses a range of mental health stressors such as loneliness, hostile dynamics on social platforms, the complexity of current global events, and personal crises. Its editorial approach emphasizes open dialogue and practical perspectives rather than tabloid-style storytelling.
According to the teams involved, the depth and intimacy of the interviews, and their potential to reduce stigma around mental health, were key reasons for the collaboration.
Host with a psychology background and a roster of well-known guests
Alongside his sports career, Gosens studied psychology and completed his degree in 2023. For more than a year, he has been inviting prominent guests from sports, public life, and entertainment to talk candidly about low points and crises. Past guests include André Schürrle, Paula Hartmann, Moritz Wagner, Giulia Gwinn, and Tommi Schmitt.
