ORIKO® – the first prescription digital psychotherapy app for adults with ADHD

ADHD affects many adults – but finding the right support is often a long journey. ORIKO® now offers an innovative solution: a Digital Health Application (DiGA), developed specifically for adults with ADHD and even available on prescription.

The app was created together with psychiatrists, therapists, developers, and people with ADHD, combining scientifically proven effectiveness, certified data security, and maximum flexibility.

12 Modules for More Structure in Everyday Life

ORIKO® guides users step by step through 12 therapy modules. Each module focuses on a central ADHD challenge – from focus and concentration to impulse control, time management, stress reduction, and self-care. The combination of psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and skills training offers a practical approach to sustainably manage ADHD symptoms.

Prescription & Access

  • Publicly insured: Get a prescription from your doctor or therapist → submit to your health insurance → receive an activation code → start therapy in the app.
  • Privately insured: Clarify cost coverage with your private insurance → purchase the app in the ORIKO® shop → submit invoice & prescription for reimbursement.

Everyday Companion Tools

ORIKO® also provides useful extras such as medication reminders, a digital diary, and personal therapy guidance by psychotherapist Anne-Marie Aktepe, as well as insights from people with ADHD.

ORIKO® as a DiGA

The Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) only lists apps as DiGA if their effectiveness has been scientifically proven. This makes ORIKO® one of the few apps that can be prescribed free of charge through health insurance – a milestone in digital healthcare for adults with ADHD.
