L’Oréal appoints Julia Huhn to lead communications across DACH
L’Oréal has strengthened its leadership team in the DACH region. As of 15 February, Julia Huhn has taken over as General Manager Communication & Public Affairs, overseeing corporate communications, both internal and external, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Move from Santander to L’Oréal
Huhn joins from Santander Bank, where she has been Head of Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability in Germany since 2020. In that role, she worked on reshaping communications structures with a focus on digitalisation and transformation.
Previous roles at Henkel and early career
Before Santander, she spent around seven years at Henkel in several positions within the company’s global communications and public affairs organisation. She began her career in 2010 as a communications consultant after graduating from Hochschule Hannover.
Succeeds Stefan Geister
Huhn succeeds Stefan Geister, who moved internally last summer to become Chief Sustainability Officer and to lead the sustainability team for L’Oréal DACH.
